Payment policy
Medicare bulkbilling is available to all clients with a mental health care plan, that means no out of pocket expenses to you and no visits to the Medicare office to claim your rebate.
Your local doctor, psychiatrist or paediatrician can provide you with a mental health care plan.
You are eligible for up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a mental health care plan.
After you complete 10 sessions you can either pay out of pocket or you can go through your private health insurance provider, the cost is $150.00 per 50 minute session. Most insurance policies cover about half of the cost depending on your coverage.
Most GPs need a longer session to complete a mental health care plan therefore make sure you mention this when booking a time with your doctor.
Cancellation policy
To enable us to continue offering a high quality service and bulk billing to all our clients, we have a strict cancellation policy.
48 hours notice is required for all changes or cancellations.
A $50.00 fee applies for changes or cancellations within 25-48 hours notice.
A $150.00 fee applies for changes or cancellations less than 24 hours notice or failure to attend.
Medicare does not pay for cancellation fees, therefore payment is the individual's responsibility.
Determining which excuses are acceptable vs not acceptable is extremely time consuming, draining and frustrating. To deliver a quality service Daniel has no other choice but adopt a
no exceptions policy.
